The Boise State University Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry bridges rigorous academic instruction with hands-on, cutting-edge research to prepare students for careers in industry, medicine, and academia. Grounded in American Chemical Society (ACS) standards, the department offers low-enrollment, high-interaction undergraduate and graduate programs that give students direct access to advanced instrumentation, such as its state-of-the-art Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) facility.
